Special Features
In 2008, the 100th Anniversary of Bob Nolan's birth, we started this Special Features page, highlighting a movie, a song and a photo once a month. Since it proved popular, we continued it. Watch our Home Page to check for new special features. To review past special features, select the following links.
1. Photos: From the collection of photographs that Bob left to his grandson, we will continue to choose lesser-known pictures with some background information.
2. Songs: We will draw your attention to one of Bob Nolan's compositions plus a selection of audio tracks and background information when available.
3. Movies: Bob appeared as an actor or singer in at least 88 films from 1935-1948. We will review films at random with emphasis on Bob's performance.
4. Spotlight: To draw special attention to a person, a collection, or a work, we spotlight a page for a month.
