DRESS SUITS
Roy Rogers Family Trust Photo
This picture speaks for itself. The newly-formed Sons of the Pioneers in 1934, now including Hugh Farr, are dressed fit to kill - and a little self-conscious with it. Most of the pictures of Bob Nolan available today are of him in western garb but there were occasions where he was photographed in a suit. In earlier years, his suits were well-cut and fashionable as in the one above and the one below.

After he retired, Bob appeared in public in a sports jacket and open-necked shirt when more formal dress was required. Otherwise, he dressed very casually although never in the cowboy style. In later years, he wore a chain of small beads around his neck.
