Bob Nolan & Foghorn Clancy October 1942, New York City
Calin Coburn Collections ©2004
In 1942, the Sons of the Pioneers accompanied Roy Rogers to the Madison Square Garden Rodeo. While there, a presentation was made, either by or to Bob Nolan. Frederick M. "Foghorn" Clancy was famous announcer, emcee, program man and rodeo publicist for most of his life. He was the author of a book, "My 50 Years in Rodeo" and many magazines plus an Encyclopaedia Britannica section on rodeos. We are not sure which man is making the presentation and who is accepting it.
