Of Those That Knew Him And Were Influenced By His Music & Poetry.
Handsome, talented, loved, Bob Nolan was an enigma. A public figure who seeks privacy can be misunderstood and Bob was often labeled eccentric, strange or a hermit. In a world of entertainers who crave popularity, he was thought an oddity because he honestly did not care what others thought of him. But those few he allowed into his life accepted him the way he was, respected his need for privacy and did not question it. Bob was Bob. If he chose to sit on a rock apart from the others while they sociably visited or played cards between scenes, some might wonder or criticize, but not his friends. To us, who live outside the spotlight, his need of privacy is perfectly understandable and even admirable. He was a deep-thinking man - a philosopher and a poet. His music affected countless lives in countless ways. This page is set aside for those who knew Bob Nolan or whose lives were touched by his songs.
