WARNER BROTHERS

 Dick Foran

(1936)

The Sons of the Pioneers were hired as musical backup in the Dick Foran films and appeared close-up only at dances, etc, where they accompanied Foran or when Roy called the square dances. It is interesting to note that, although Bob did not sing solo in any of the Sons of the Pioneers' parts, his unaccompanied voice was heard dubbed in for a hired villain singing "Vengeance" in "Song of the Saddle".
