TERRY SEVIGNY SCOTT SCRAPBOOK
Terry Sevigny Scott, former secretary of the Sons of the Pioneers kindly photocopied several pages of her Sons of the Pioneers scrapbook to be used as reference when necessary.
Some shortcuts:
El Dorado
Bells of Rosarita
The following pages concerned the filming of "Heldorado" and various antics of the Pioneers in Las Vegas.
On July 23, 1946, The Wyoming World Première Ship-to-Shore Broadcast was aired during the 51st Annual Cheyenne Frontier Days celebration in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Introduced by Neal Wallace, a conversation between Wyoming Governor Lester C. Hunt on board the USS Iowa and the cast of the Republic film "Wyoming" (starring Bill Elliott and Vera Ralston) and the Sons of the Pioneers, plugged the movie and the Frontier Days Celebration. Bill Elliott took over the MC task and each person said a few words. The Sons of the Pioneers sang, "Cheyenne, Cheyenne".
